My stay at New Linden Hotel left a lot to be desired. The location was great, close to various transport links, but the room was cramped and quite outdated. Cleanliness was a major concern, and while the staff were polite, the overall experience just didn't feel boutique or luxurious.

Rooms
5.0
The room was extremely small with no space for bags. The beds were pushed against the wall, making it difficult to get in and out. Overall, not what I expected in terms of comfort.
Service
5.0
While the staff were generally friendly, I felt the cleaning staff were somewhat disruptive. I was disturbed multiple times before checkout, which was frustrating.
Location
8.0
The location was a highlight, with easy access to two main tube stations. I could quickly get to major attractions, which was a plus.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was a basic continental buffet. It included some fruits and cereals but lacked variety. Not exactly what I hoped for during my stay.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had the essential facilities, but they felt very basic. There were some issues with cleanliness that were disappointing.

5.8/10

I had a mixed experience at New Linden Hotel. While the location near Notting Hill and Hyde Park was perfect and the staff were generally friendly, my room was quite small and hot, and the shower design led to a flooded bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, but the dining area seemed understaffed during peak times.

Rooms
5.0
My room was in the basement, which felt tiny and got really hot, even with the window open. There was a shower, but it lacked a curtain, which caused flooding every time I used it.
Service
6.0
Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, but there were moments when I felt rushed, especially during checkout when I was approached just before my time was up.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was one of its best features-just a short walk to Notting Hill and close to two tube stations. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby, which made exploring easy.
Dining
6.0
The continental breakfast was decent but the dining area felt understaffed, and I had to queue for a table a couple of times.
Facilities
7.0
I appreciated the availability of self-service laundromats nearby and the free Wi-Fi, which added to the convenience of my stay.

6.8/10

My stay at New Linden Hotel was quite mixed. The location was fantastic, close to Notting Hill and Hyde Park, but the room and service left much to be desired. Though the staff was mostly pleasant when I interacted with them, my initial check-in was a bit unsettling due to unclear policies. Overall, I felt a bit let down by the experience.

Rooms
5.0
The room was really small and poorly designed. While the cleanliness was acceptable, the sloping ceilings and lack of space made it uncomfortable. I struggled to relax given the tiny shower area and inconvenient TV placement.
Service
5.0
Service was inconsistent. I had a positive interaction with some staff, but during check-in, I encountered a lack of clarity and warmth that left a poor first impression.
Location
8.0
The location was definitely the highlight of my stay. So close to the tube and walking distance to great spots like Hyde Park and Notting Hill, making it easy to explore London.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was very basic, lacking variety. While I didn't mind much, it wasn't anything to write home about, just enough to start the day.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were minimal. The lack of basic amenities like a kettle in the room was disappointing. The environment just felt dated and not in line with a boutique experience.

6.8/10

My stay at New Linden Hotel was quite disappointing. While the location was excellent and very close to tube stations and great dining options, the service and room condition left much to be desired. I experienced unfriendly staff and a room that was way below the standard I expected for a 4-star hotel.

Rooms
5.0
The room was small, dated, and cramped. I had to navigate around a sloping ceiling, and it didn't match the advertisements. There was minimal space for my belongings, and the bathroom was poorly designed with no room to move around comfortably.
Service
5.0
The staff were generally unhelpful and unfriendly, making me feel unwelcome. My concerns about the room and request for amenities were met with indifference, which was very frustrating.
Location
5.0
The location was definitely the highlight, situated near main tube stations and plenty of restaurants. It was easy to get around London, and I appreciated being in a vibrant neighborhood.
Dining
5.0
The breakfast offered was quite basic and didn't meet my expectations for a hotel of this rating. The selection was minimal, and they ran out of items quickly.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel needs significant investment in its facilities. There were no secure luggage-storage options, and the general upkeep was lacking. I didn't find any notable amenities during my stay.

My stay at New Linden Hotel was quite good overall. The location was excellent, with easy access to tube stations and nearby eateries. However, I was disappointed with the breakfast selection and quality. The room was on the smaller side, which made moving around a bit cramped, but I appreciated the comfortable bed.

Rooms
6.0
The room was compact but had everything I needed for my stay. However, it was quite small, with the bed pushed up against the wall, making it difficult to get around comfortably.
Service
7.0
The staff were generally pleasant and welcoming, but I did feel some disconnect at times. There were moments when it seemed like they didn't fully grasp my needs.
Location
8.0
The hotel is in a nice quiet area with good access to public transport and is close to Hyde Park and various restaurants, making it convenient for exploring London.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was basic with limited choices and not very tasty, which was a letdown. I expected better quality for what is described as a boutique hotel.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were decent, but there was no kettle in my room, which was a bit of a hassle. Overall, it felt like it could have used some improvements.
